Schoolgirl treated for alcoholism after becoming hooked on drink at the age of EIGHT
A schoolgirl who became addicted to drink at the age of eight has been revealed as one of the youngest Britons to be treated for alcoholism.
The youngster, raised by a family of binge drinkers, began her habit as a primary pupil in year four and soon developed a ‘serious problem with alcohol’.
After admitting she needed support when she was a teenager, she was finally helped to quit by Tayside Council on Alcohol in her home town of Dundee.
